Through the various leadership opportunities offered through SEAL, students are encouraged and challenged to connect beyond the classroom in high-quality activities that will prepare them for complex issues in their community and chosen profession.

With over 40 active Student Organizations, Penn State Abington has opportunities for students to meet other students, share ideas, and forge their own paths.

GROW

Our service programs engage students, faculty, staff, and community to facilitate partnerships, education, critical thinking, and informed action about matters surrounding Abington, Pennsylvania, and the World.

We provide opportunities to become involved in the community, to learn more about yourself and to experience firsthand a variety of issues affecting both our community and our society.

At Penn State Abington, our office oversees various areas related to Service:

  • Alternative Spring Break
  • Nittany Service Day
  • PSA Votes

SUCCEED

Behind the scenes, students are learning professional skills that they can take out into the workforce, no matter what they are studying. Such skills include teamwork, communication, customer service, and time management.

Through various work-study opportunities and leadership positions, SEAL opens doors for students to reach achieve personal and professional growth.
