Mission
LEAD represents the leadership arm of Student Engagement and Leadership (SEAL). LEAD supports students personally and professionally. Our mission is to enhance students' leadership skills through activities targeting communication, teambuilding, ethical decision making, critical thinking, motivation and self care, delegation, risk-taking, service, and more. Our students are gems. Stones that are refined and continue to grow and change. LEAD supports students' dreams, hopes, and passions---providing them with the space to explore their talents and learn new skills to enable students to be the best version of themselves. It allows students to reflect on their journeys toward a career and gain the skills to make change in our world.

Membership Benefits
All our members learn unique skills on Leadership. We learn how to better ourselves and the people around us through communication, integrity and leadership. Through the many events and workshops we hold, all of our members grow as better leaders and acquire the skills to pass on their knowledge to others.

SERVE represents the service/civic engagement arm of Student Engagement and Leadership (SEAL). Our mission is to empower students to become involved in service opportunities at Penn State Abington and with our community partners, recognize the values of giving back to the community, and understand social injustices and how to make a difference. Every individual is capable of becoming a change agent and leading through volunteering. As a result, students develop a variety of skills, make new connections, and enrich their sense of purpose.

The Student Engagement and Leadership office provides opportunities for students to become involved in and connected to Penn State Abington. Our role is to provide a link between students' classroom experiences to activities beyond the classroom. Through programs and services, the college experience is enriched, personal growth and development are facilitated, and the educational mission of the College is supported.
